SameYou set to take centre stage at this year’s World Health Organisation’s Global Rehabilitation meeting

Jenny Clarke, CEO and co-founder of SameYou, will be addressing delegates at this year’s World Health Organisation’s Global Rehabilitation meeting in Geneva, outlining the power of advocacy and the need for brain injury survivors’ voices to be heard.

When Jenny's daughter, Emilia, gave a candid account of surviving two brain haemorrhages it helped to smash the stigma around brain injury in young adults and led to thousands of survivors bravely sharing their stories. It revealed that access to rehabilitation is seriously inadequate.

Jenny will be addressing the meeting on Tuesday, July 11 2023 to highlight how vital it is to speak out to get the quality of care that’s needed for recovery and call for specialist mental healthcare services after brain injury.

SameYou has been granted membership to the newly-formed World Rehabilitation Alliance after the organisation’s landmark ruling to commit to boosting worldwide access to rehabilitation, and the charity will outline how advocacy is central to communities across the world.
