Gaby Noe is our first supporter of the month!
Gaby suffered an ischemic stroke at the age of 25 which killed a large portion of her occipital lobe of the brain. One year on, she has decided to fundraise for SameYou by running 10k!
After her stroke, Gaby lost her peripheral vision, the ability to move the right side of her body and her short-term memory.
Thanks to her support team of medical professionals and the physical therapy she received she was able to get her life back on track and regain her independence.
Now Gaby is working as an engineer and channelling her energy into helping others receive the vital recovery services they need, and this month, a year after her stroke, Gaby ran 10K to raise money for SameYou!
With months of training, Gaby completed the 10K in 1 hour and 1 minute - which we think is totally amazing!
